FOUNDER - LAZARUS DOUVOS

Lazarus Douvos is an internationally renowned hair stylist who has been perfecting the technique of hair design and styling for over three decades. The incomparable and critical combination of innate talent, dedication, and relentless hard work has enabled Lazarus to perfect his vocation to the highest artistic level.

Born in Melbourne, Australia from Greek immigrants, following a career as a ballet dancer, Lazarus began his foray into hairdressing working for high profile salons such as Rakis. He quickly made a name for himself styling hair for fashion photographic shoots, demonstrations, seminars and through his creative direction. In the early 90's, moving to Florence Italy Lazarus was introduced to the world of luxury and began working exclusively as a senior stylist and consultant for fashion houses Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo. 

After establishing himself in Florence, Lazarus returned to Melbourne to open his own namesake salon and share his expertise as a mentor and educator to young stylists. 

With eyes on America, 2009 saw Lazarus land in New York.  He was soon appointed as personal stylist to fashion doyenne and Hollywood celebrity the late Joan Rivers, before working as a master stylist for the iconic hairdresser Garren. During this time he created editorial looks for US Vogue and was the personal hair stylist to Journalist and Fashion Editor at Large, Hamish Bowles. In 2011, during New York Fashion Week, Lazarus assisted Garren for Calvin Klein in 2011 and Guido Palau for Ralph Lauren in 2012. As lead Hair Stylist In 2014 he created the looks for the ADIDAS Selena Gomez Collection.  

Years of working with various haircare brands and hearing the confusion on too many product options from women all over the world, sparked Lazarus to create his own streamlined haircare collection. Carrying a deep love for his craft and the world of fragrance, he dreamt off marrying the emotional connection that perfume brings to the ritual of haircare.
