THE BRAND
THE HOUSE
Where fragrance meets ritual. Where beauty becomes legacy.
LAZARUS DOUVOS was not conceived as a brand. It was conceived as an experience — one that begins the moment a fragrance touches the skin and extends into every gesture of a daily ritual.
"Hair is your crown, but your scent is your emotion — an invisible, indelible mark that lingers long after you leave."
From the very beginning, the House was built around a singular conviction: that fragrance and haircare are not separate categories — they are two expressions of the same desire. The desire to feel beautiful, to feel cared for, to move through the world enveloped in something extraordinary. At LAZARUS DOUVOS, the two are inseparable. A scent that lingers in the air finds its counterpart in a haircare ritual that leaves the same impression on those who pass by. Together, they form a complete sensory world — one that is entirely your own.
The Atelier
The Atelier is the beating heart of the House. It is a private space of creation, where the founder works in close collaboration with artists, perfumers, and craftspeople to bring each vision to life. Nothing leaves the Atelier by accident. Every formula, every texture, every note is considered with the same devotion one might give to a work of art. This is not production. This is craft.
To bring the first collection, ROSE 1845, to life, Lazarus travelled to all corners of the globe. Through careful curation, he brought together the artisans who would give shape to his vision.
That vision is reflected first in the vessel itself: a hand-blown glass bottle by French glass specialist Verreries Brosse, distinctive, strong, and elegant. Lazarus then worked with illustrators and photographers to build a visual language for the brand — imagery that is whimsical, inspiring, and unmistakably of the finer things in life.
At the heart of it all is ROSE 1845 itself, the House's signature scent, born of roses hand-picked in the gardens of Grasse. Lazarus then turned his eye as a world-renowned hairstylist to the ritual around the fragrance, developing a full haircare and body range — shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, and body mist — before the collection made its entrance into the world of Eau de Parfum.
Following the success of ROSE 1845, Lazarus set out to explore a different register of feeling — sensual, a little mischievous, deeply romantic. It was here that he met Master Perfumer Jean Claude Delville, and together they created a fragrance line devoted to another facet of love, both emotional and physical: the unisex Love Note Collection, with its unforgettable titles — We Met in Roma, You Kissed Me in Paris, and I Went Down On You In St. Tropez.
Legacy
Legacy is the foundation upon which everything at LAZARUS DOUVOS is built. We do not follow trends. We do not chase seasons. We build slowly, deliberately, and with the understanding that true luxury is measured not in moments, but in memories. The products we create are designed to become part of your story — to be remembered, to be returned to, to be passed on.
The journey is yours to discover — with more still to come.
